It was a beautiful Wednesday morning and my wife and I were off work and we were driving by this location. We stopped by to try their food and I can honestly say they did not disappoint! Best breakfast I've had in years. Omelette, steak and country potatoes were off the hook! Not to mention the GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE that was provided by the waitresses and servers. They were so great, I had to take a photo of them so I could share who they are with others. I will definitely recommend this establishment to anyone that's seeking a great place to have breakfast.
Looking for a down to earth no fanfare diner, this is it. This former A&W is now Canyon Cafe. Interior is old, clean, and hep bring back dinning years ago. Menu is American dishes. Open 7a-2p. Breakfast is served all day and the restaurant's staple since it covers 2 1/2 pages of the 5 page menu. Portions are good size, enough to leave you feeling full. I ordered the 2 egg dish w/single slice of ham. Hash browns or country potato option. I went with hash browns. Finished the entire dish, yum! Service is friendly and willing to kid around and laugh with you. Great overall atmosphere, service and food. Will look to return again.
Restaurants like Canyon Cafe bring me true joy and happiness. There's something comfy about walking in and immediately being greeted and seated. This past Sunday I had some business in American Canyon and decided to grab brunch with my wife and business associate. We wanted cozy and filling food so we head over to Canyon Cafe. In addition to being seated on the spot, we were given menus, utensils and coffee right away. As you can tell, I really appreciate the quick service. The food was tasty and fresh. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The coffee and water refills were fast meaning our beverages were always topped off. If you're in the area and enjoy good American breakfast or lunch, this is a great spot to visit. The parking lot is big and accommodates many cars. There were no issues paying with a credit card and they gladly accepted my American Express. Thanks for the good breakfast! Can't wait to be back!
Best hotcakes by a mile! I love coming here for the food, and the service is even better! If you just come a few times, they'll remember what you order and your particulars. I think her name is sherry, she's a server who will make you feel right at home - wonderful lady! Great prices on the food and it'll top any chain restaurant.
Back to the 1950s, waitress, menu, wait, enjoy. Good food, shakes, fries, no fast food allowed. Parking in back; lot is usually 2/3 full.
Do yourself a favor, eat here! I had a spinach omelette with cheese and mushrooms, it was delicious. The homemade hash browns rocked. Portions were huge and great prices. Service was fast and friendly, I never ran out of coffee
